PAUL FAIRBROTHER Paul has a degree in Business Administration
from the University of Texas with a Master of Public Affairs from
the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. He is
one of the founding Principals in Government Partners.
Paul started his career at a Texas State agency in a technical position. He then moved on serving as an aide to U.S. Congressman Jack Pickle. This provided the inner workings of knowledge of the federal government. He also worked as an aide to the Austin City Manager John Ware coordinating issues between the city manager and members of the Austin City council and provided him a detailed level of knowledge in city government. Paul received his detail knowledge of state government when he became Chief-of-Staff to Texas State Senator Cyndie Krier. Paul gained an extensive network of contacts in the Legislature and when Senator Krier retired he began his career in marketing consulting and lobby work in front of the Texas Legislature with an emphasis on procurement issues, technology, health care and the appropriations process. Industry Leadership: Mr. Fairbrother has become an acknowledged leader on technology issues in Texas State government and has become a resource to the leadership of the Texas Legislature as well as most of the major state agencies. In addition Paul founded the Texas Technology Association and is known for the last 14 years for his excellent management of the Government Technology Conference and activities associated with the conference such as the founding of the Conference's Bob Bullock award.
