LOUIS J. COTRONA Mr. Cotrona began his career in New
York State as a Public Administration intern with the State Budget
Division. From 1967 through 1975 he organized and directed the
NYS Senate Minority Finance Committee. He then went on to
serve as Governor Carey's Appointments Officer and Lobbyist.
After this assignment he was appointed First Deputy Commissioner of
the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services and was responsible
for administration of Federal crime prevention funds, criminal
identification and all data systems. In 1981 he was appointed
as Executive Director of the NYS Temporary State Commission on
Lobbying where he oversaw all lobbying activities in the
State. In 1992, after a successful career in public service,
Mr. Cotrona founded Capitol Insights, Inc., a business development
organization focused on providing assistance to high tech companies
doing government business. He also was a co-founder of
Integrated Partners, Inc., a technology integration company.
In 1999, he established Saranac Consulting, a business development
consulting firm. Mr. Cotrona holds a Master Degree in
Public Administration.
